General Information about the
Liebenzell Mission International
Liebenzell Mission International was founded in 1899 under the name of the "German Branch of the China Inland Mission, Ltd." in Hamburg, Germany, at the instigation of Dr.Hudson Taylor. By 1902, circumstances necessitated the move to Bad Liebenzell, a small resort town located in Southern Germany's Black Forest. In 1906, due to various developments, the name "Liebenzell Mission" was adopted.
The Mission motto is expressed in 1.Timothy 2:4 (NIV) - "God wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth."
Besides many various ministries in Germany, the Liebenzell Mission's primary objective since its inception is still the dissemination of the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
