Hello everybody!

We are happy that you are visiting the "Wurster family" page. We would like to share with you about us and our work we are doing here in Taiwan.

We are both from Germany. After our regular school education and professional training we both went to the Seminary of the Liebenzell Mission in Bad Liebenzell, Germany.

In Oct. 1987 Martin came for the first time to Taiwan and started to study Taiwanese. Taiwanese is a Chinese language wich is spoken from 70% of the population in Taiwan. Ulrike came in Jan. 1988 and began to study the Taiwanese language too. In April 1988 we got married in Taiwan. Our three Boys were all born in Taiwan.

From 1990-1992 and from 1994 until now we have been involved in a church planting project in Chungho, Taipei County. In 1993, when we came back to Taiwan for our second term we studied Mandarin-Chinese for one year.

We really feel at home here and know that the Lord has called us to Taiwan as his servants.
